Fluid system evaluation and advisory service

What are Swagelok Fluid System Evaluation and Advisory Services?

Swagelok Fluid System Evaluation and Advisory Services (FSEAS) is a program designed to improve efficiency, increase reliability, and reduce energy consumption and emissions in everyday plant operations by addressing and eliminating gas leaks throughout your facility. We'll help you identify leaks and quantify leak rates so you can prioritize the most critical issues to address based on safety, cost, and productivity.

What is included in a FSEAS?

A Swagelok-certified field technician team will visit your facility to survey your fluid system. Each survey is focused on System Health; Leak Detection; or Bill of Materials/P&ID. Using the Swagelok digital app, all components of the service are logged and recorded with GPS-tagged photos.

You will receive a detailed report on the day of your service that summarizes and identifies all findings and potential safety concerns. The comprehensive report details any nonconformance in your system with estimated monetary losses, as well as a prioritized list of solutions. Also included are replacement/substitute part numbers, a full materials take-off for the systems surveyed, and a tailored workforce development program. This report may also include suggestions to improve system integrity, depending on your needs.

Why should you make an investment in a Swagelok FSEAS?

Improve efficiency in everyday plant operations by:

  • Reducing energy loss
  • Reducing operating costs associated with gas leaks
  • Increasing plant safety, increasing system reliability and repeatability, and reducing emissions due to component failures, installation errors, and incorrect product selection
